🌊 Moses and the Red Sea
There was a time when the people of Israel were slaves in Egypt. So God sent Moses to free the Israelites.
Pharaoh would not let them go.
So God sent plagues.
10 plagues.
The Nile, a great river of Egypt, turned to blood!
Then, frogs are in houses, beds, and stoves. Pharaoh still said no.
Then, gnats were everywhere and gave the Egyptians sores. No again.
Then, flies were everywhere!
After that, the livestock died due to a disease!
And, the Egyptians got unbearable boils! It was really bad! Still no.
Then, there was hail and lots of fire that knocked down all the plants of rice, corn, and wheat. Pharaoh still said no.
And, locusts ate all the remaining plants.
There was darkness everywhere! Everyone could feel the darkness!
Moses put the blood of a lamb on the door, which prevented the Israelite sons from dying. The Egyptian sons died because they didn't have the blood on their door. .
After that, Pharaoh finally said yes.
Moses and the Israelites set out.
But there was a big problem: the Red Sea.
Pharaoh changed his mind about letting them go, so he pursued them.
But the Lord, the God of Israel, said, “Stretch out your hand with the staff.”
Then, the water split into two!
Moses and the Israelites crossed quickly, for Pharaoh and his army pursued them.
Then, the Pharaoh and the army were on the dry ground, Moses stretched out his hand, and the water came crashing down.
Then, they fled and went.
They saw the Promised Land, Canaan, but they couldn't go because God had told Moses that he would not go to the Promised Land.
A new leader rose, Joshua, to lead the Israelites into Canaan safely.
That is the end of this story, here are the lessons:
God is all-powerful and will help and guide you.
Always have faith in God that he can save you.
Always obey God, for it will be a good ending for you if you do.
That is the end.
